グローバル愛知は製造業だけではありません！10月25日（木）に名古屋市に本拠を置くアパレル企業、㈱Free Internationalを見学しました。当日愛岐の大学から11名の留学生が参加し、日本のアパレル業界について勉強を深めました。Global Aichi is not just manufacturing! On Thursday, Oct. 25, we held a tour of Free International Co., Ltd., an apparel company based in Nagoya. 11 international students from universities in Aichi and Gifu Prefectures attended the event.

㈱フリーインターナショナルは北海道から九州まで販売店を運営しており、2013年から香港に進出しています。更なる海外拡大を目指し、今年から留学生を積極的に募集しています。人事担当者から募集要項や自社ブランド、フィントとアン・アナザー・アンジェラスに関する説明の後、創業者である葛谷雅彦氏より企業理念と今後のミッションを描いていただきました。一方で、留学生から製造業以外の愛知県企業との出会いによって視野が広がったという好評の声をいただきました。Free International, which has stores located throughout the country, opened internationally in Hong Kong in 2013. Their move to hire foreign students is based in this strong desire to grow internationally. Participants greatly enjoyed the event, saying it broadened their understanding of Aichi companies beyond manufacturing.
